In the gay male community, our lives and relationships are run by 'the apps' that foster this 'temporary' culture, where people are disposable, no one is looking for a deep and meaningful connection, and we can find someone to touch, kiss, and fuck in an instant. Thus, trapped in an endless cycle of short, casual relationships, the cyclical nature of which becomes like a rat race that many of us are trying to break free of.

Hold is about highlighting what many of us in the community want but can never find: intimacy, meaningful companionship, and someone to Hold.
